As the exclusive cryptocurrency trading platform for the event, Crypto.com has been selected by FIFA as an official sponsor of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

As a result of the partnership, the bitcoin platform will receive “substantial” promotional exposure. This is because of the level of rivalry both inside and outside of stadiums.

FIFA’s Chief Commercial Officer Kay Madati said, “There is no platform bigger, or with a greater reach and cultural impact, than FIFA’s global platform of football. Crypto.com has already demonstrated a commitment to supporting top-tier teams and leagues, major events, and iconic venues across the world.

“We are delighted to have a global brand like Crypto.com join us as a sponsor of the exciting and groundbreaking FIFA World Cup in Qatar, ultimately helping to grow our beautiful game on a global scale.”

The 2016-founded platform has additional affiliations with premier sports and entertainment venues, including motorsport, mixed martial arts, basketball, ice hockey, and football.

It’s noteworthy that in November of last year, Crypto.com signed a naming rights agreement for what is now the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and also established itself as the official cryptocurrency exchange and trading platform for the Australian men’s and women’s professional football leagues.

The company’s co-founder and chief executive officer, Kris Marszalek, added: “We could not be more delighted to sponsor the FIFA World Cup, one of the most esteemed competitions in the world, and to promote Crypto.com greater awareness internationally.

“Through our partnership with FIFA, we will continue to use our platform in innovative ways so that Crypto.com can power the future of world-class sports and fan experiences around the world.”

The business has also said that it would put its sponsorship into action by giving both new and current customers the chance to attend games throughout the competition or win special goods.

After being awarded the official title partner of the 2019 Formula One Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix by South Florida Motorsports (SFM) last month, Crypto.com will also get further publicity during the race.

This results with brand visibility around the Miami International Autodrome as well as inclusion in the official event title and logo.
